The Bible teaches us that the Lord came into the world not only to
save us but to establish His kingdom (Mt 4:17).
In the gospels, we see the Lord teach with insistence and urgency
about His kingdom (Luke 13: 18-31). Although John the Baptist had come to
prepare the way and announce the Kingdom of God (Mt 3: 1-2), Jesus explains
that the smallest in His Kingdom is greater than John the Baptist (Mt 11:11).
To be part of His kingdom, we must first see and enter it to later
announce it and establish it in the Ferra (Jn. 3: 3). This is only
possible when we have a revelation such as the one Peter had when he understood
and confessed who the Lord Jesus was (Mt 16:17).
When the Kingdom of God is revealed to us ... Jesus taught much
about the Kingdom of God. We could say that this was his main teaching
while walking on the Ferra more than two thousand years
ago. Jesus declared that His kingdom had come and that His kingdom was in
our midst. (Mt 16:17, Mar 1:15, Luke
4:43, Luke 17:21)
We understand what it means to be children of God. Rather
than becoming Christians, God wants to make us His children. Peter had a
revelation of who Jesus was: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living
God." When we understand who Jesus is, we understand what it means to be
adopted children of God through faith in Jesus. (Mt 16:16, Rom 8:17, Gal
3:26)
We receive authority. The church is made up of the children
of God. When the church receives revelation of who Jesus is, the church
receives authority over principalities, powers and even over the gates of
Hades. How important it is for the church to understand the message of the
Kingdom of God! (Mt 16: 18-19)
We can manifest it. The Kingdom of God is manifested when the
will of God is established in Ferra as in heaven. God's will is
established when we obey His word and operate according to His order and
authority. The revelation of His word and our obedience to that revelation
is what allows us to manifest to the world that we are children of God. (Mt
6:10, Mar 9: 1, Luke 19: 11-27, 1 Cor 4:20, Luke 9:11, Luke 11:20)
We show obedience and not just familiarity. There is a big
difference between being obedient to the Lord and simply being familiar with
His kingdom and his commandments. The word warns that many fail to enter
the Kingdom of God because they do not go through "the narrow
gate." This refers to receiving His grace, following His
commandments; and seek His will in all areas of our life. God intends
to establish His kingdom in our life, health, family, work, community, church
and every area. (Lk 13: 23-30, Jn 6: 41-42)
